NT cop charged with sex assault

A Northern Territory police officer will face court after being charged over an alleged sexual assault.
The 48-year-old Police Auxiliary Officer was arrested and charged on Wednesday night with one count of sexual intercourse without consent.
NT Police Fire and Emergency Services said the officer has been suspended from duty without pay.

He was granted bail and will face Darwin Magistrates Court on February 5.
