Men held over hen's night assault in NSW

Two men are in police custody over an attack on a group of women who were celebrating a hen's night in the Sydney CBD.
One of the women was taken to hospital with a suspected broken collar bone and two others had bruises and cuts on their heads and faces after a man attacked their group of six outside a George St fast food outlet.
A 69-year-old man who tried to help the women was also assaulted and left with facial swelling.

Police said a man was being held at the Sydney City police station on Day St and a second man was in custody at Chatswood Police Station.
The men are expected to be charged over the attack, which occurred in the early hours of Saturday.
