Reports of a man assaulting women on walking track near Byron Bay

Several women have reported being assaulted along a walking track in NSW's north coast, sparking a police appeal for public help.

Women walking past bushland on Lighthouse Road at Byron Bay between November 2015 and May 2016 have been approached by a man who touched them inappropriately, police say.

The man is described as being Caucasian, aged between 20 and 30, with a thin build.
