Woman dies after being struck by vehicle

A woman has died after being struck by a vehicle in the Riverina region of NSW.

Emergency services were called about 8.30pm Tuesday to Walla Avenue in Griffith after reports a pedestrian had been hit.

A 55-year-old woman was treated by paramedics but died at the scene, while the 25-year-old driver was taken to Griffith Hospital for mandatory testing.
