Further charges could be laid for a woman who allegedly injured a young girl in Sydney's west while six times the blood-alcohol limit.

The 50-year-old female driver was reversing her Subaru from a parking spot in Eastwood on Wednesday afternoon when she hit two parked cars, injuring the six-year-old who was walking between them, police say.

The girl was rushed to Westmead Children's Hospital with suspected pelvic injuries and remains there in a stable condition, a hospital spokeswoman said on Thursday.

The woman, who allegedly tried to flee the scene, was charged with high-range drink-driving, misconduct causing bodily harm and driving while using a mobile phone, but police on Thursday did not rule out further charges.

The woman has been granted was conditionally bailed and is due to face Burwood Local Court on October 24.
