Woman abducted at Sydney shopping centre

Police hold serious concerns for a woman who was possibly abducted in Sydney's east.

Officers were called to a shopping centre in Bondi Junction about 3pm on Tuesday after reports a woman was assaulted by a man, who then forced her into a van and left.

The 35-year-old woman, Elizabeth Bell, is believed to be in the company of a 42-year-old man, William Curteis, and may be travelling in a white Toyota Hiace van with NSW registration RYD227.

Police are urging anyone with information about Ms Bell to contact them immediately.
