Voting closes in NSW election

The polls have just closed in Saturday's NSW election.

Premier Mike Baird has been tipped to be returned to office with exit polls expected to be released shortly.

The election is for all 93 seats in the lower house of parliament with 47 seats needed to gain power.

Half of the NSW upper house, 21 seats, is also up for election.
