Visitor arrests at NSW jail for contraband

Seven people have been arrested for allegedly trying to smuggle drugs and other contraband into a NSW prison.

Cocaine, cannabis, methamphetamine and cannabis were among the items seized when police searched 23 visitors and 36 vehicles at the Goulburn correctional centre on Saturday.

Fifteen people were also refused entry to the prison for "consorting and for allegedly having positive indications to drugs," police said.
