Ute driver dies in head-on in NSW

A man has died in a head-on collision on a highway in NSW's Southern Highlands region.

The driver's ute hit another ute coming the opposite direction on the Lake Illawarra Highway at Sutton Forest about 5.30pm on Thursday, police said.

The man died at the scene and two men in the other car were treated by paramedics.
