A hundred people have been evacuated from a unit block in Sydney's west after an electrical substation went up in flames
Firefighters were called to Parramatta just after 1am on Wednesday after the substation, located under an eight-storey unit block, caught alight.
The fire was extinguished with no reported injuries, but the building had to be evacuated, NSW Fire & Rescue said.
