Man dies following NSW double shooting

A man has died and a woman is seriously injured in hospital following a double shooting at a home in central NSW.

Police went to the Coonabarabran home on Monday night where they found a 57-year-old man with a gunshot wound and a 53-year-old woman who had been shot multiple times.

The pair, who were known to each other, were airlifted to St George Hospital but the man died from his injuries en-route.
