Two men stabbed in Sydney brawl

Two men have been stabbed in the back during a brawl in Sydney's west.

Police were called to Dunmore Street in Wentworthville just after 11.30pm on Saturday and were told of the stabbings.

A 22-year-old man later fronted Westmead Hospital with stab wounds to his back and remains in a stable condition after undergoing surgery.

A 20-year-old man is also in a stable condition at the same hospital after paramedics were alerted and treated him for similar wounds at Toongabbie railway station after he arrived there by train.

Police have set up crime scenes including a train that has been stopped at Riverstone.
