Two men escape from NSW prison

Two prisoners are on the run after escaping from a minimum security jail in the NSW central tablelands.

Both aged 18, Matthew Hayne and Eli Heigh, were last seen at the Oberon Correctional Facility at 12.30am on Monday, police said.

The pair were wearing prison greens.

Police are warning the public not to approach them but to contact Triple Zero.
