Two injured in multi-vehicle Sydney crash

A truck has collided with a car before crashing into the front yard of a home in Sydney's southwest, injuring two people.

Emergency services were called to a Roselands property on King Georges Road, near Canarys Road, about 2.20pm on Monday.

A NSW Fire and Rescue spokesman said two people were injured, including one who was momentarily trapped in one of the vehicles, but only one patient was taken to St George Hospital.

They are in a stable condition - their age, gender and the extent of their injuries is currently unknown, a NSW Ambulance spokesman said.

The scene was deemed safe and clear by emergency crews at 3.15pm.

One of three northbound lanes on King Georges Road remains closed and traffic is heavy in the area, the Transport Management Centre said.
