Two men are in hospital after being stabbed in two separate attacks across NSW.

Police say one of the men was allegedly stabbed after getting into an argument with another man while they were travelling in a car on the Pacific Highway at Wyong on Monday night.

The injured 35-year-old was taken to John Hunter Hospital and remains in a stable condition, with police looking to question his alleged attacker.
