Two dead in separate NSW Riverina crashes

Two men have died within hours of one another in separate road crashes in NSW's Riverina region.

The first was killed in a two-vehicle collision near Hay on Wednesday afternoon.

The victim, who has not been identified, was driving a van that collided with a sedan on the Sturt Highway about 4.30pm.

A 31-year-old man also died when the ute he was driving left the road and rolled at Hillston, north of Griffith, just before midnight on Wednesday.

He was the sole occupant and died on impact, police said.
