Three dead in NSW crashes

Three people have died in two separate NSW road crashes.

A man and a woman, believed to be aged in their 60s, died on Saturday afternoon when their car was sent careening into a small gully after colliding with another vehicle on a highway near Wallabadah, south of Tamworth.

Two people in the second car, which rolled on the highway, were taken to hospital with minor injuries.

An 18-year-old man was killed hours later in a single-vehicle crash in Ebenezer in the Hawkesbury.

Police say it is not yet clear what caused the second crash, which happened shortly after midnight and left the car's driver and another passenger with injuries not considered to be life threatening.
