Two charged with assault of elderly man

Two men will face court on Thursday charged with the assault of an elderly man walking home from a Sydney train station.

The 65-year-old was punched and kicked repeatedly, and hit in the head with a walking stick gashing his forehead at Riverstone on Tuesday night.

The two men, aged 18 and 28, have been charged with assault in company causing grievous bodily harm.
