Two charged over Sydney kicking assault
Two men have spent the night behind bars after being charged over a vicious attack in Sydney's west where a man was repeatedly kicked.
The victim was walking along Victoria Road in Parramatta on January 25 when he noticed three men following him before he was brutally bashed after stopping at a bus stop.
A 27-year-old Queensland man was arrested on Wednesday over the attack on the 39-year-old man.
He has been refused bail and is set to face Penrith Court again on Thursday charged with reckless wounding and assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
A 19-year-old man was also charged on Tuesday with reckless wounding and assault occasioning actual bodily harm over the attack.
It's understood his mother handed him in to Windsor police station after graphic surveillance footage of the attack was released by police.
He was refused bail at Penrith Local Court on Wednesday and will reappear next week.
Investigations to identify the third man are ongoing.
