Two arrested after Kings Cross brawl

A man accused of spitting blood at police after a brawl in Sydney's Kings Cross has been charged.

Two men were arrested after police were forced to use capsicum spray to break up a fight between about 20 men in Potts Point on Saturday night.

A 24-year-old has been charged with resisting police and offensive behaviour and granted conditional bail to appear in court later this month.

Another man, aged 21, has been arrested after allegedly throwing an advertising sign at police.

He has been taken to St Vincent's Hospital under police guard after complaining of injuries sustained during the brawl, and is expected to be charged upon his release.
