Tradie dies after falling from ladder
AAP
An electrical worker has died in hospital after falling from an extension ladder while working on a Sydney construction site.
The 62-year-old man fell on Wednesday at the Chippendale site, suffering serious head injuries. He later died in hospital, the Electrical Trades Union said.
ETU spokesman Dave McKinley said before the fatal fall, union officials had visited the site at least twice and raised safety concerns, including in relation to working at heights.

Work on the site has stopped since the incident and WorkCover NSW have issued prohibition notices in relation to all ladders.
