April 8, 2015
* Ms Scott's parents, Robert and Merrilyn Scott, hire helicopter to search Leeton area fearing their daughter has rolled her car on an isolated road.
* Police arrest school cleaner Vincent Stanford, 24, at his Leeton home after allegedly finding a camera with photos of a burned body.
April 9, 2015
* Stanford charged with murdering Ms Scott and remanded in custody.
* Ms Scott's red car found abandoned on rural property outside of Leeton.
April 10, 2015
* Police divers find Ms Scott's laptop in an irrigation canal.
* Police on dirt bikes find Ms Scott's burned remains off an isolated dirt road in the Cocoparra National Park, more than 70km from Leeton.
April 11, 2015
* Family and friends gather in a Leeton park on the day Ms Scott was meant to get married to pay tribute to the much-loved teacher.
June 3, 2015
* Vincent Stanford charged with the aggravated sexual assault of Ms Scott before her death.
June 10, 2015
* Vincent's twin brother Marcus Stanford arrested in South Australia, accused of playing a role after Ms Scott's alleged murder.
June 11, 2015
* Marcus Stanford extradited to NSW and charged with being an accessory after the fact to murder. Police allege Vincent sent property belonging to Ms Scott in the mail to his brother in SA after her death, which he disposed of by pawning it.
March 31, 2016
* Marcus Stanford pleads guilty to the charge of accessory after the fact to the murder. He is expected to be sentenced in May.
* Vincent Stanford committed to stand trial in NSW Supreme Court for murder and aggravated sexual assault.
