Three more charged over NSW bashing murder

Three more men have been arrested and charged with the bashing murder of a man at a NSW Central Coast service station in April.

Clint Starkey, 42, was the victim of what police called a "particularly violent" attack at the Caltex outlet in Peats Ridge on April 6.

He died in Gosford Hospital two months later having never recovered from his head injuries.

Police have said the assault was the result of a dispute between the Rebels outlaw bikie gang and associates.

A member of the bikie gang and two associates - two aged 25 and one aged 29 - were arrested on the Central Coast on Thursday and later charged with Mr Starkey's murder.

Rebels sergeant-at-arms Adam Symons faced court charged with murder in early November and did not apply for bail.

At the time, police said they had a clear picture of why Mr Starkey was targeted but declined to go into detail.

CCTV footage showed the lead-up to the incident with police suggesting at least four people were directly involved in the attack. Others played various roles in planning it and cleaning up the scene.

Mr Starkey was due to face court not long before he was bashed but police said the incident wasn't related to the legal proceedings.

Thursday's arrests bring the total number of people detained over the attack to seven.

Three people were arrested and charged with hindering a police investigation in October however AAP understands the charges against one of them were dropped.

Symons and the three men charged on Thursday are expected to face Gosford Local Court on Friday.
