Third man charged over Sydney shooting

A third man has been charged over a 2012 fatal shooting in Sydney's southwest.

The 22-year-old was arrested at Goulburn jail on Tuesday and has been charged with being an accessory after the fact to murder.

Ali Eid, 38, was killed and another 34-year-old man injured during a gun attack at a house in Punchbowl on November 27, 2012.

Two other men have been charged with Eid's murder and remain in custody while their matters are before the courts.

The arrests are part of a long-running investigation into five shootings in 2012, which included four deaths.
