Eleven people are facing a variety of drugs charges after being arrested during police raids across several Sydney suburbs.

Several search warrants were executed simultaneously on Thursday morning during raids on homes in Camperdown, Leichhardt and Rosebery.

Ten people arrested during the raids are expected to be charged with supplying and possessing drugs, along with another man who was later arrested in Camden.

Most of those arrested were in one public housing unit at Camperdown where they were allegedly found with the drug ice.

Leichhardt Area Commander, Detective Superintendent Paul Pisanos said there was a growing problem with ice use in public housing in the area.

"[Some tenants] are escaping domestic and family violence with their children and they deserve to have safe homes to come home to," he told reporters.

"We've found that these people are surrounded in these instances by ice and the supply of ice."
