Teens raped in Sydney reserve: police

Two teenage girls have allegedly been sexually assaulted in a reserve in Sydney's west.

Police say the teens, aged 15 and 16, were speaking to a 26-year-old man at Best Road Reserve in Seven Hills on Monday afternoon when he indecently and sexually assaulted them.

The girls left the scene and were taken to Blacktown Hospital where the matter was reported to police.

The alleged offender was arrested at Lethbridge Park on Tuesday morning and charged with sexual intercourse without consent and assault with act of indecency.

He was refused bail to appear at Mount Druitt Local Court on Wednesday.
