Teens arrested after Sydney police pursuit

Four teenagers allegedly driving a stolen car have hit a police car and a locked gate during a pursuit in Sydney's southeast.

The teenagers, aged 13 to 18, were chased by police about 2.30am in La Perouse on Sunday after they were spotted in a car reported stolen less than two hours before, NSW Police said.

The teenagers allegedly fled into the Botany Bay National Park where they crashed into a locked gate and a stationary police car before coming to a stop in Coward Street, where the teens were arrested.

Two of the teenagers have been taken to Maroubra Police Station, while the other two have been taken to hospital with minor injuries.
