A disqualified teenage driver has been arrested after a pursuit in Sydney’s west last night, with one of his passengers emerging from the car and holding up two middle fingers to the waiting camera crews.

The 17-year-old driver had four passengers in the Toyota Corolla when he allegedly drove at 90km/h through a 70km/h speed zone.

Police said when they attempted to stop the vehicle, it turned onto Wangee Street and a pursuit commenced, which ended on Greenacre Road.

Police said the driver had been disqualified from driving until November 26.

His vehicle was confiscated after the pursuit and he was taken to Bankstown Police Station, where he has since been released.
