Teenager, 14, dies after car rollover in rural NSW town

A teenager has died after a horror car rollover in north-western NSW.

Emergency services were called to Barrier Highway in the small town of Cubba, 25km west of Cobar, about 8.30am.

Officers found a car had left the highway and rolled in a single-vehicle crash.

A boy, believed to be aged 14, was treated by paramedics and died at the scene.

The uninjured driver of the car, a woman aged 23, was arrested and taken to hospital for mandatory testing.

Two other passengers were uninjured, NSW Police said.

A crime scene was established and an investigation into the crash is ongoing.

The Barrier Highway was closed in both directions at Cubba.
