Sydney teen charged over brother stabbing

A teenage boy has been charged with stabbing his older brother at a home in southwest Sydney.

The 17-year-old and 24-year-old siblings got into a fight at a Macquarie Fields home on Sunday night, with the injured older brother later taken to hospital in a stable condition, police say.

The teenager has been refused bail and will face a Children's Court on Monday, charged with wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
