Sydney police ID dead pregnant pedestrian

Police believe they have identified a pregnant woman who died after being hit by a car in Sydney.
Details of a 32-year-old woman believed to be the deceased were given to police but she has not yet been formally identified, police said in a statement on Wednesday.
The woman was crossing Parramatta Rd near Flemington Rd in Homebush about 7pm on Monday when she was hit.

Paramedics were unable to revive her and she died at the scene
The driver, a 31-year-old man, stopped after the woman was hit and was later breath-tested, returning a negative result.
