Sydney man to face stabbing charges

A man is due to face court over the attempted stabbing murder of another man in southwest Sydney.
The 28-year-old allegedly stabbed the 38-year-old in his head, neck and chest at a unit complex on Railway Parade, Canley Vale, on Tuesday night. The older man had to undergo surgery and was still in a critical condition in hospital on Saturday.
The younger man was arrested on Friday afternoon and is due to face charges of causing wounding with intent to murder and assault occasioning actual bodily harm in Parramatta Magistrates Court on Saturday morning.
