Sydney man pleads guilty to mum's killing

A Sydney man has confessed to killing his mother after her bloodied body was found by her other son the day after Mother's Day.
Nathan Connors pleaded not guilty to murder but admitted to the alternative lesser charge of manslaughter when he appeared via video link in the NSW Supreme Court on Friday.
The body of 55-year-old Lynda Connors was discovered by her other adult son on May 15 last year, the day after Mother's Day, at the Sylvania home they all shared.

Police later caught Connors driving his mother's car where a crossbow was found.
The 29-year-old is due to face a sentencing hearing on September 21.
