A man whose western Sydney house was reportedly sprayed with bullets in February has been charged with 55 offences including kidnapping, extortion and stalking.

Rishaad Christian was charged on Tuesday at Silverwater, where he was already in prison for other matters.

The 36-year-old was investigated by Strikeforce Atone, which was formed in January, and faces dozens of allegations including drug supply, drug possession, motor vehicle theft and kidnapping.

Christian's matter was adjourned in Penrith Local Court on Wednesday and will be mentioned in the same court on Thursday.

In February, a Rooty Hill house was sprayed with bullets in a late-night attack with News Corp Australia reporting Christian slept in the front bedroom.

The property was hit by more than a dozen shots and a woman home at the time was lucky not to be hurt.

Christian has also been linked to disputes with the Rebels bikie gang in the past.

He survived an attack at Minchinbury in 2014 during which he was shot and bashed with a baseball bat, according to News Corp.
