Sydney man critical after fight with group

A man is fighting for life after he was attacked by a group of men in Sydney's west.

Police were told the 42-year-old man was involved in a fight outside a unit on Mia Mia Street, Girraween, with at least three to four other people about 4pm on Monday.

He suffered serious head injuries and was taken to Westmead Hospital in a critical condition. Police are appealing for anyone who may have information to come forward.
