Sydney man charged with indecent assaults

A man has been charged with indecently assaulting teenage girls in Sydney's southwest.

Two separate incidents involving two girls aged 12 and 14 occurred in the past couple of months as they walked home from school in the Macquarie Fields area, police said.

A third girl, also aged 14, on Wednesday reported a similar incident to police that occurred last month.

A 41-year-old man was arrested on Wednesday morning and charged with eight counts of aggravated indecent assault, two counts of intimidation and one of aggravated indecency.

He was refused bail to appear in Campbelltown Local Court on Thursday.
