Children injured in Sydney bus accident

Six children are being treated in hospital for minor injuries after a bus slammed on its brakes in Sydney.

Paramedics treated 14 children at the scene of the accident on South Dowling Street in Moore Park just after 3pm on Wednesday.

Footage showed them sitting on the ground wrapped in survival blankets.

Six have been taken to Sydney Children's Hospital with minor injuries, an Ambulance NSW spokeswoman said.

It's believed the driver was forced to slam on the brakes after a car pulled out in front of the bus, sending the kids flying.
