Sydney boy found with gun stashed in pants

A teenage boy has been charged after police allegedly found a small black cap gun stashed down the front of his pants in western Sydney.

The 13-year-old boy and his friend were arrested in Guilford on Monday afternoon when officers stopped and searched the pair after they were alerted by a concerned member of the public.

The teenager, who allegedly had the unauthorised firearm down his pants, was granted conditional bail to appear in Parramatta Children's Court on May 15 while the second boy was released without charge.
