Sydney man injured in gas heater explosion
AAP
A man is in a stable condition in hospital with facial, arm and leg burns after his gas heater exploded in a Sydney unit.
The 35-year-old's heater, which Fire & Rescue NSW said was banned years ago over safety concerns, exploded in Bondi Junction early on Friday morning.
The unit was extensively damaged and the complex, which houses about 30 residents, was evacuated as a precaution.
