Suspicious package at Parramatta courts

A suspicious item found at a large court precinct in Sydney's west sparked a three-hour police operation and delayed the opening of the courts.

Police were called to Parramatta Justice Precinct at 6.40am on Tuesday, after an item was found near a court, with police taping off the area.

The Parramatta Justice Precinct opened at 9.40am.
