Surry Hills escapee back in custody

An 18-year-old Sydney woman who escaped from custody has been caught hit with fresh charges.
Having escaped from the Surry Hills Corrective Services Cell Complex last week, the woman was found in nearby Wentworth Park in the early hours of Saturday morning and charged with escaping lawful custody as well has an outstanding warrant.
She was refused bail and will appear in court on Saturday.
