Signals stolen from Sydney station

A box of railway track signals have been stolen from a train at an inner Sydney station, with police warning they could pose a danger if used incorrectly.

The signals, which contain explosives, were stolen at the weekend from a locked cabinet on the train at Central Railway Station.

Police are advising the public if the box is found not to tamper with the signals, which are placed on tracks to warn railway workers if a train is approaching.
