Shots fired from car in Sydney's west

Shots have been fired from a car in a street in Sydney's west.

Police have set up a crime scene at Rodd Street in Sefton following reports shots were fired there at about 11pm on Thursday.

Police believe a number of shots were fired from a small light-coloured hatchback before it left the scene.

There have been no reports of injury or damage to property and the incident is not believed to be a targeted attack.
