Seven men arrested overseas after NSW police bust child sex crime ring
NSW detectives have disrupted alleged global online child-abuse networks, leading to the arrest of seven men overseas.
The arrests came from intelligence gathered by two concurrent operations run by the State Crime Command’s Sex Crimes Squad Child Exploitation Internet Unit.

Strike Force Constantine investigates the online distribution of child sexual abuse material involving ritualistic or satanic themes, while Strike Force Trawler targets broader child-exploitation offending promoted through the internet and telecommunications platforms.
Detectives analysed intelligence, identified offshore account holders, and shared critical information with police from other countries.
This led to the arrest of the seven men during July and August.
They included two men from the UK, including one whom allegedly disclosed the sexual assault of a child known to him online.
US law enforcement agencies arrested two men accused of being part of an online paedophile ring.
One man from Mexico and a Uruguayan were taken into custody over allegedly distributing and possessing child abuse material.
NSW detectives identified an account holder based in Poland allegedly distributing child abuse material online.
All of the alleged offenders have been charged and remain behind bars.
Investigations by NSW Police remain ongoing.
