Seven injured in Armidale head-on crash

Seven people have been injured in a head-on crash in the NSW Northern Tablelands, with police urging witnesses to come forward.

Police believe a Toyota Cressida and a Peugeot sedan collided head-on in Armidale on Saturday afternoon.

The 19-year-old driver of the Cressida and his 42-year-old male passenger have been airlifted to John Hunter Hospital with serious injuries.

The 21-year-old driver of the Peugeot and four others in his car, a 21-year-old man and three 20-year-old women have also been taken to hospital with serious injuries.
