Third NSW motorcyclist dies over weekend

A motorcyclist has died following a collision with a 4WD in Bathurst, bringing the weekend road toll in NSW to six.

The 43-year-old man was the third motorcyclist to be killed over the weekend.

The man was riding on a section of Mount Panorama known as "The Esses" with a 14-year-old girl as a passenger when it collided with a 4WD on Sunday.

The driver died at the scene about 12.45pm, while the teenage passenger was airlifted to Westmead Hospital.

On Saturday, a motorcyclist died following a collision with a car in the NSW Riverina region.

A 20-year-old man was thrown on impact with the Commodore sedan as he travelled west along Elm Drive in Tumut around 6pm on Saturday.

The man, who was not wearing a helmet, died at the scene.

The 19-year-old male driver of the car was taken to Tumut Hospital for mandatory blood and urine tests.

He was interviewed by police and has been released without charge pending further inquiries.

The crash followed the death of a 43-year-old man after a collision with another rider in Mount Seaview, in northeast NSW on Saturday morning.

Meanwhile, two motorists also died following a truck and car crash near Dubbo in the state's west on Saturday afternoon.

A 73-year-old woman was killed in the accident, and the 76-year-old male driver died in hospital in the early hours of Sunday.

On Saturday evening a 47-year-old woman was killed in a collision with a car at North Richmond.
