Second person charged with Qld murder

A second man's been charged with murder over a Father's Day shooting north of Brisbane.

A 28-year-old from Scarborough was charged on Wednesday afternoon and is due to face the Redcliffe Magistrates Court later on Thursday.

Victim Clinton Pollock, 35, was shot in the chest after getting into an argument with a group of men in the front yard of his Deception Bay home about 11.30pm on Sunday.

He was pronounced dead at the scene a short time later.

On Tuesday, Rothwell man Justin Meale, 26, was remanded in custody after being charged with Mr Pollock's murder.
