Two juries have been discharged in two days in the trial of a Sydney high school teacher accused of sex offences against three students.

Cameron White, 39, has pleaded not guilty to multiple counts of aggravated sexual intercourse, multiple counts of sexual intercourse with a person under care, and one count of aggravated indecency.

His trial was scheduled to begin in the NSW District Court on Wednesday but the jury was discharged for legal reasons part-way through Crown prosecutor Michael Barr's opening address.
