Police search for British swimmer missing off NSW beach

Police are continuing the search for a British man who went missing while swimming at South West Rocks, on the NSW mid North Coast.
The 25-year-old was camping with friends at Smokey Cape Camping Reserve when he went for a swim about 5pm on Tuesday July 22.
He was observed to get into difficulties before disappearing.

It is expected the search will resume about 7am today with local police being assisted by the Marine Area Command, Marine Rescue and Surf Life Savers.
The search will continue with the sweep of beaches and land in the immediate area where the man was last seen.
