Missing Sydney boy found safe and well

A teenage boy has been found after going missing from Sydney's Inner West.

The 13-year-old was found safe and well in Sydney on Friday morning after he was last seen at Lewisham train station at 7pm on Thursday.

"When he could not be located or contacted, officers from Inner West Police Area Command were notified early this morning and commenced inquiries to locate him," police said.

Police previously said they held concern for the teen's welfare due to his young age.
